Kyle’s teaching style is informative but relaxed, focusing mostly on technique, music theory and enjoyment factor. Music should be fun to learn and play!
Kyle was classically trained as a child and studied the Suzuki method through book 6, then he focused more on fiddle styles like Texas fiddle, old-time and bluegrass.
Kyle uses the Suzuki method for teaching violin, American Fiddle Method for fiddle as well as the Faber method for piano.
Students are always welcome to bring their own songs or interests to work on.

Virtual lessons are convienent because we can exchange music resources such as photos of music or videos very easily and the entire lesson can be recorded for later practicing.

I offer lessons at my home in Evergreen, Colorado by appointment. My home offers a comfortable and practical location for music lessons with students in the Colorado mountain-area.

Teacher Home Visit
My favorite way to teach is face-to-face, and I’m now offering in-person lessons in the Evergreen, Colorado mountain-area.
I can make visits to student’s homes in the Evergreen-area. House visits are only available within 25 minutes of central Evergreen, Colorado.
Now offering piano tuning in the Evergreen, Co / Mountain area.
Turnings should be done on a semiannual basis to preserve precise tuning and enhance playability.
Each tuning session can take 2-3 hours, I will check and tune each key several times during each session.
